Robyn joined LJMU in 2017 and is Programme Leader and Principal Lecturer for Logistics and Maritime programmes with our Faulty of Engineering and Technology. In 2024 she became Associate Dean for Global Engagement, responsible for collaborative provision and international partnerships for the faculty.
Helen is an LJMU science graduate who has gone on to have a very different but an amazing career in the creative industry as well as a stint at Liverpool Football Club managing former player relations.
Ebenezer is a senior lecturer in adult nursing and was recognised by the Royal College of Nursing for his work in supporting refugee nurses to obtain registration in the UK and to work for the NHS.
Dhiya Al-Jumeily is a professor of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and has been teaching at LJMU for more than 26 years. He was awarded an OBE in The Queen’s New Year Honours list of December 2020 for his service to scientific research.
Razvan embraced university life during his policing studies degree, having moved to the UK from Romania and being inspired by a coffee shop customer to work in the world of policing. He was a Student Advocate, supporting others to get into higher education and will now go on to serve with Merseyside Police taking his learned experience, and compassion for others, into his career.
An Honorary Fellow of LJMU for his continual pursuance of peace and one of the most memorable Roscoe lecturers to have graced the stage at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral for our popular public lecture series that has been running since 1997.
Dr Tony Lloyd is an inspiring leader and is the CEO of the ADHD Foundation. He has been the driving force in promoting neurodiversity in the UK and has gained a master’s in both psychotherapy and inclusive education, as well as his PhD, here at LJMU.
Kelly is a former international 400m athlete for Great Britain and Northern Ireland and has Olympic, World, Commonwealth and European medals to her name. She was one of the first sport scholars to study with LJMU in the late 2000’s and has been a lecturer with our School of Sports and Exercise Sciences since 2018.
Business graduate Sean, while he doesn’t take life too seriously, has used the skills he honed at LJMU to develop two wacky businesses.
