5. European Journalism Training Association Teachers' conference

   The university’s Journalism Department is hosting the European Journalism Training Association teachers’ conference, where teaching of sports, society and specialist journalism will be discussed by educators from across the continent.

   The Digital Health Interest Group within the Institute for Health Research are actively engaged with digital health research and aim to develop long-standing interventions to improve health care and pathways.

7. Michael Salla

   Michael is an alum of LJMU, having completed his undergraduate studies in sport science and postgraduate studies in public health here. Today he is the Deputy CEO of Everton in the Community, Everton Football Club’s charitable arm that supports thousands of people across Merseyside, often from the most vulnerable and underprivileged local communities, and creates life-changing opportunities.

8. National Teaching Fellows (NTF)

   The National Teaching Fellowship (NTF) Scheme is an esteemed AdvanceHE award, accorded to around fifty educators every year since 2010.

10. Sarah Maclennan

    Sarah is an award-winning member of staff and alumni of LJMU. Having completed her degree as a mature student, she now leads the Creative Writing programmes in the Liverpool Screen School.
