1. The Multisensory Mouth: An investigation into the Motivational, Cognitive and Emotional mechanisms, driving Oral behaviours

   This project focuses on the role olfactory and oral perception plays in shaping our consummatory experiences, preferences, and food seeking behaviours. Research into this area is important to health research, shaping understanding of individual differences in food selection, consumption, and other dietary behaviours.

2. Suicide crisis and self-harm attendance at A&E in autistic CYP

   Research suggests that autistic people are at a higher risk of suicide than non-autistic people. Figures show that up to 66% of autistic adults had thought about suicide during their lifetime (compared to 20% of non-autistic adults), and up to 35% had planned or attempted suicide.

6. Access and edit your work anywhere and collaborate online with Office 365

   Last month staff were given access to Office 365. This resource includes web based versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

7. Using forensic science to tackle illegal wildlife trade 

   More effective measures of detection are needed to help stop the trade in illegal animal products. An LJMU graduate is working on an innovative approach to address the problem.
