Read Charlotte Morton's story - when law graduate Charlotte applied for a post as Port Operations Coordinator with CMA CGM (UK) Ltd, she had little expectation of success as, having not even finished her Masters in Maritime Operations Management, she was merely dipping a toe into her new industry.
Avril is a graduate of the university, she spent 20 years teaching in primary schools on Merseyside before joining LJMU in 2014 where she is now a senior lecturer within our School of Education, working with both undergraduate and postgraduate students on our primary education programmes. She combines her passion for the outdoors with teaching, and has become our lead on outdoor learning, developing a new approach called the Natural Curriculum, and establishing two Forest School sites.
Alexandra has been a friend of LJMU since 2015 when she moved to the UK, and alongside her own studies, she has played a key role in forging a relationship between the university and the growing Roma community in the city.
