River Flow 2024 is happy to announce the invited Keynote Speakers.
Harcourt was a student at the Liverpool City School of Art and Crafts, a historic predecessor to the current Liverpool School of Art and Design. He became a highly respected stained glass window artist and thanks to diligent record keeping from his family, many of his original window designs, alongside prints and personal letters from his time at the School of Art now tell both his personal story and the institutional history of the university that we know today. The records are held within LJMU’s Special Collections and Archives.
Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) works closely with local partners, often small and medium size company’s (SME’s) to ensure that important projects with a public benefit can be properly funded with help from European Structural and Investment Funding (ESIF).
Double LJMU graduate Dennis creates incredible immersive experiences in the Liverpool City Region through his company Focal Studios. Combining his passion and interest for technology with art, his company maps out buildings and famous landmarks that can then be used as the canvas for magical, visual experiences that bring stories to life like you’ve never seen before.
A pharmacy graduate from Limerick who was supported throughout his studies to play Hurling, Ethan also found his tribe here in Liverpool, a place with plenty of enduring Irish connections.
Gareth is an active ambassador for LJMU and is extremely proud of his Liverpool Polytechnic history, as the second generation in his family to graduate from the institution.
The state-of-the-art laboratories, equipment and technologies within the School of Sport and Exercise Science are world-class. With a sleep research unit, respiratory clinic and acclimation chamber, eye tracking and motion capture, various image processing and microscopy suites and much more available to students and researchers.
