Paul celebrated his 25th anniversary of working at LJMU in 2023, our Bicentenary year, and in 2024 will reach a marvellous milestone of 40 years working in education and will retire from the profession.

As a graduate of the Liverpool College of Art, the forerunner to today’s Liverpool School of Art and Design, it was here that he undertook a course in illustration, one of the many ex-servicemen and women who joined the school after the war.
