  1. Jack Fitzpatrick

    Jack is an LJMU graduate, who as someone living with a disability, has found great support during his studies and fantastic mentors at the university.

  2. Selma Bazara

    While working as a social media executive and studying at LJMU for her MA in Human Resource Management, Selma became an internet sensation starring alongside LFC manager Jurgen Klopp for the club’s kit launch. As a result, she has helped to raise the profile of fellow young Muslim women from both the Liverpool and football fan communities.

  3. Ebenezer Banahene

    Ebenezer is a senior lecturer in adult nursing and was recognised by the Royal College of Nursing for his work in supporting refugee nurses to obtain registration in the UK and to work for the NHS.

  4. Razvan Neagoe

    Razvan embraced university life during his policing studies degree, having moved to the UK from Romania and being inspired by a coffee shop customer to work in the world of policing. He was a Student Advocate, supporting others to get into higher education and will now go on to serve with Merseyside Police taking his learned experience, and compassion for others, into his career.

  6. Global Citizen (Volunteering) - Go abroad

    The LJMU Go Global fund allows students to undertake international projects, from existing programmes such as Camp America or TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) courses, to individual projects students have designed themselves.   7. Awards – Face to Face with Sport and Exercise Sciences

    The aim of the Student Futures Team is to help LJMU students and graduates achieve the career they aspire to.   9. Dr Elizabeth Malone

    Elizabeth is the Head of Primary Programmes within the School of Education, and her own career in teaching brought her to work at the university. In 2023, she won a JMSU Student Experience Award, after being nominated as an outstanding teacher with students praising her for her support, empathy, and enthusiasm in all that she does.
