7. A month of free wellbeing events for students and staff this February

   From walking tours around the city, crafts and bibliotherapy workshops, LJMU has a month’s worth of events for all students and staff to get involved in this February.

8. Drones to the rescue: wildlife park footage will help save endangered animals

   Scientists at LJMU are capturing the thermal profiles of animals at a local wildlife park in order to help researchers around the world classify and monitor endangered species in the wild.

9. New date for staff event raising awareness of domestic abuse support

   Staff are invited to an event on Wednesday 14 December from 10am to 11am at Exchange Station (Room 1 & 2), where they can find out more about how we're supporting those impacted by domestic abuse.

10. Restrictions on using USBs for students and staff

    From 4 September students will be no longer able to use USB storage devices on LJMU equipment. This is alongside the restrictions already in place for staff.
