Throughout the academic year, the Centre for Modern and Contemporary History (CMCH) runs a schedule of public-facing events involving CMCH members and guest speakers from other institutions.
All of our Media, Culture and Communication lecturers are active researchers, and we believe strongly in the close integration of research and teaching.
The interconnected research theme of the group is the prevention and cure of human diseases. We look at: synthetic organic medicinal chemistry, natural products drug discover, photochemistry, nutraceuticals and food supplements, pharmacology and toxicology.
