The ten students and now LJMU graduates, visited Nepal for a month-long Turing funded trip, working on the Dignity Without Danger (DWD) research project.
For the second consecutive year, students pursuing their MSc in Cosmetic Science had the privilege of visiting the head office of Croda International PLC, Cowick Hall in Snaith, Goole, East Yorkshire.
The annual Susan Cotton and Sue Dunthorne Travel awards are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the school, designed to enhance students personal and career development through travel and impactful experiences. Successful applicants for the Susan Cotton Awards receive a budget of £1500 to spend on the trip of a life to their choice of destinations, while the Sue Dunthorne Travel Bursary is an award of £500 to travel anywhere in the UK or overseas.
The Library's 19th century periodicals collection will be featured in an episode of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip on Thursday 24th January.
