Do you prefer to study out of hours? Is there a pressing lab report that you need access to? No problem! LJMU is providing students with 24/7 access to IT services off campus. That means you can access Office 365 from your own device and download other software onto your own laptop/computer as well as accessing lab computers.
As part of LJMU security upgrades, key platforms including Canvas, Staff Infobase and parts of the LJMU website will be unavailable on 24 August.
IT Services will soon be migrating staff email accounts to provide us with greater security, increased storage limits and easier accessibility.
IT Services Technology Support staff will be on hand this September to offer informal guidance on the operation and use of in-class technologies such as projectors, visualisers, and front of class computers.
The LJMU Library website has had a major refresh over summer and has launched this week ready for the new academic year.
During the summer, IT services will be delivering an upgrade to Microsoft Office and Google Chrome will become the default browser.
LJMUs newest staff network has launched this February with over 70 attendees from across Professional Services attending the event online.
Library Services also recognised for being exceptional in 10 areas.
