Meet some of the people working and teaching within the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences.
Our staff's areas of interests include forensics and anthropology, zoology, genetics, neurobiology, animal behaviour, conservation, geography and neuroscience.
Researchers in the Research Centre in Evolutionary Anthropology and Palaeoecology have an international reputation for exciting discoveries and the application of novel research techniques in the Old and New World.
Many staff are engaged in collaborative work with a range of environmental, wildlife, conservation and health organisations. We have strong links with the World Wildlife Fund, UNEP, Chester Zoo, The Poulton Project, the NHS, WHO and with a number of local and national environmental organisations including Natural England, local authorities, the Mersey Forest and the Wildlife Trusts.
