Student Voice Season under way

Student Voice Season is now under way at LJMU with the launch of the National Student Survey (NSS) 2025.

The NSS is an independent survey of final year undergraduates run by Ipsos MORI which asks for the views of eligible students at every university in the UK.

This is an opportunity for you to give your opinions about your experience at LJMU and help us understand what we are doing well and where we might be able to get better.

All responses are completely anonymous.

How completing the survey helps a local charity

LJMU will make a donation to a local charity for each survey that is completed; our donations from NSS 2025 will go to Micah Liverpool, a social justice charity which runs a foodbank and supports residents suffering with poverty, unemployment and social exclusion.

Last year, we were able to donate £13,000 thanks to our final year students completing the NSS. You can find out more about how our donation will support local people in the video above.

Completing the survey

If you are eligible to complete NSS 2025, you will receive an email to your LJMU inbox from Ipsos MORI on Thursday 23 January with a personalised link to the survey. You can also access the survey by visiting the NSS website.

It will only take you around 10 minutes to complete the survey and your responses will really help the university and make a valuable contribution to Micah Liverpool.

Student Voice Season

NSS comes at the start of Student Voice Season, which is an opportunity for each group of students to give feedback on your experience at LJMU.

If you’re a first year student, you will receive an email next week (27 January) with a personalised link to the First Year Experience Survey.

For level 5 students, you will receive an email on 27 January with a link to the LJMU Course Experience Survey.

As well as accessing the surveys via your personalised link, you can also access them on Canvas.
