Programme and module amendment deadlines for 2026/27



The Academic Quality and Portfolio Committee (AQPC) has approved the key deadlines for programme and module amendments for implementation in the 2026/27 academic year.

Please review the relevant dates below and ensure any planned changes are submitted in time. Please note that if your programme is undergoing a Periodic Programme Review (PPR) this academic year, any assessment changes will be managed through the PPR process and aligned with the specific deadlines set for your review. You do not need to follow the general deadlines listed below.

Undergraduate provision

Amendments to module-level assessment information

Final date for consideration by the Programme and Module Amendment Panel: 3 December 2025 (paper deadline 19 November 2025)

All other module amendments (excluding assessment information), as defined within the Guidance for Programme and Module Amendments 

Final date for consideration by the Programme and Module Amendment Panel: 4 February 2026 (paper deadline 21 January 2026)

Programme amendments, as defined within the Guidance for Programme and Module Amendments

Final date for consideration by the Programme and Module Amendment Panel: 3 December 2025 (paper deadline 19 November 2025)

Postgraduate-Taught Provision

Amendments to module-level assessment information

Final date for consideration by the Programme and Module Amendment Panel: 4 February 2026 (paper deadline 21 January 2026)

All other module amendments (excluding assessment information), as defined within the Guidance for Programme and Module Amendments

Final date for consideration by the Programme and Module Amendment Panel: 6 May 2026 (paper deadline 22 April 2026)

Programme amendments, as defined within the Guidance for Programme and Module Amendments

Final date for consideration by the Programme and Module Amendment Panel: 6 May 2026 (paper deadline 22 April 2026)

When planning amendments, colleagues should ensure that their plans are cognisant of not only the above dates and deadlines, but also the timings of any school or faculty approval mechanisms and, if applicable, the Academic Quality and Portfolio Committee.
