Part time Jobs Fair 2025
Are you looking for part-time job opportunities to help develop your skills, gain experience, enhance your CV, and to earn some money alongside your studies?
Attend the Part-time Jobs Fair
Students from any programme or level of study are invited to attend the Student Futures Part-time Jobs Fair on Wednesday 24 September, 1 to 3pm, at the Student Life Building (SLB) to meet a wide range of organisations from various sectors looking to hire you for roles you can fit around your studies.
This includes Unitemps, LJMU's own on-campus recruitment agency, who can help you to secure part-time, temporary and casual work both at LJMU and externally.
Inclusivity Matters
LJMU is committed to inclusivity. If you have a disability, are neurodivergent, or feel anxious about attending the fair, our Student Futures Team and Student Ambassadors are here to provide guidance and support. Simply drop by the Careers Zone desk on the ground floor of the SLB for assistance.
Get expert advice to prepare for the fair
If you’ve never attended a recruitment fair before or are not sure about the best way to approach an event like this to make the most of the experience, don’t miss our short online webinar, “How to make the most of the Part-time Jobs Fair” on Tuesday 23 September, 2 to 2.30pm.
Upgrade your CV for the fair
If you need to upgrade your CV before the fair, CV Café is open on the day of the fair, Wednesday 24 September, from 11am to 1pm at the Student Life Building Careers Zone. Drop-in to get your CV checked by the Student Futures team prior to submitting to employers at the fair.
The Student Futures team hold regular CV Café drop-ins (every Tuesday and Thursday) at both the Student Life Building Careers Zone (2 to 3.30pm) and Byrom Street Careers Zone (2 to 3pm). They also hold a weekly Careers drop-in (every Thursday 11am-12pm) at both Careers Zones throughout the year. Check out our event schedule for more details.
Can't make it to these events and haven't written a CV before? No worries! Head over to Careers Zone 24/7 to try our CV Builder App to get started, or explore the CV360 App for instant feedback and suggestions on improving your existing CV.
