Share your feedback on your LJMU experience

This week marks the start of Student Voice Season at LJMU, in which we want you to share your thoughts and feedback on your university experience so far.

Over the coming weeks, you’ll receive a personalised invitation to take part in a survey relating to your year of study.

By taking a few moments to answer some questions, you’ll be helping us to understand what we’re doing well and where we can make enhancements.

How your responses can make a difference

The university has been able to make some changes to the way we do things based on student feedback in these surveys over the last couple of years.

For example, students told us they wanted a simpler way of booking spaces in the libraries. As a result, we introduced new signage in the libraries, clear guidance on how to book a space and promoted them to societies and student groups.

Meanwhile, students in one of our schools asked if it could be made easier to see when teaching spaces were available. On the back of this feedback, the school introduced new signage and a QR code to access timetables for spaces in the building.

Your responses can really help to make enhancements for current and future students.

National Student Survey 2026

The first survey is the NSS, which is an annual independent survey of all final year undergraduates in the UK.

The NSS is commissioned by the Office for Students and conducted by Ipsos MORI, an independent research agency, and takes around 10 minutes to complete.

If you are eligible to take part, you will receive an email from Ipsos MORI on Thursday 22 January 2026 with a unique link to the survey. You can also complete the survey on the NSS website

Next surveys

The other surveys in Student Voice Season are:

  • First Year Experience Survey (foundation and first year students)
  • LJMU Course Experience Survey (second year students)
  • Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (postgraduate taught students)

There will also be module evaluation for students at all levels later in March.

Look out for your invitations to take part and share your feedback.
