Liverpool Business School moves ahead on AI
Liverpool Business School is looking at how AI can enhance its mission after signing a MOU with Yentra.ai. PVC Professor Tim Nichol joined School Director Dr Adam Shore, LJMU’s AI Lead Dr Henry Forsyth and others as managers discussed with Yentra representatives’ ways the school can work more intelligently going forward.
LJMU AI Academy apprenticeships now live
Earlier this year, LJMU launched its AI Academy in partnership with Multiverse, offering a suite of fully funded apprenticeship programmes designed to build practical AI skills across the university.
More than 100 staff are now undertaking AI apprenticeships and applying their learning directly in their roles. The university is already seeing tangible benefits, with staff using AI to streamline and automate processes, improve ways of working and save valuable time that can be redirected towards supporting our students.
Building on this success, applications are now open for our next cohort, which will begin at the end of September 2026. Three AI and two data apprenticeships are available for staff members.
