II'M SAFE Participant information

Increasing Immunisation Motivation by Supporting Access to Flu Education (II'M SAFE): A regionally based feasibility study of a multifaceted intervention to increase influenza knowledge and vaccination in ethnically diverse and deprived groups.

We are Claire Adshead and Anna Powell, we work at Liverpool John Moores University. Last year, we talked to members of the public, community workers, primary healthcare staff, and policymakers, to understand how people feel about the flu vaccine. We used what we learned to design and share flu information tailored for the local communities of Liverpool.

Now, we want to understand how people feel about this information, particularly people from different ethnic groups or deprived areas, who can get the free flu vaccine. We will use what you tell us to improve the information that people receive about the flu. You can ask us questions about taking part, and can take as long as you need to decide. We can be contacted at flu@ljmu.ac.uk or 07483488218.
