    Read the oration for Dame Gillian Oliver on the award of their Honorary Fellowship from Liverpool John Moores University presented by Professor Frank Sanderson.

  5. Suicide crisis and self-harm attendance at A&E in autistic CYP

    Research suggests that autistic people are at a higher risk of suicide than non-autistic people. Figures show that up to 66% of autistic adults had thought about suicide during their lifetime (compared to 20% of non-autistic adults), and up to 35% had planned or attempted suicide.

  6. About Children and Youth research

    Research undertaken by CCSE members of the Children and Youth Research Group seeks to explore the experiences of children and young people who come into contact with the Youth Justice System.

    Research in theSchool of Nursing and Advanced Practice encompasses the areas of nursing and social work. We are home to the Centre for Collaborative Innovation in Dementia and the Research Unit for Financial Inclusion.
