We primarily study primates (including humans) but also other species including birds. Dhiya Al-Jumeily is a professor of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and has been teaching at LJMU for more than 26 years. He was awarded an OBE in The Queen’s New Year Honours list of December 2020 for his service to scientific research.
