For the fourth lecture in LJMU's Athena Lecture Series, three speakers from STEMM and non STEMM backgrounds presented to a packed lecture theatre comprising academics, students, professionals and Year 9 pupils from four local schools.
MA Fashion Innovation and Realisation students: Joshua Marriott, Macarena Morilla Dominguez and Courtney Hammond presented research posters based on their MA proposals.
Baroness Valerie Amos, Under-Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs, United Nations, delivered a Roscoe Lecture entitled ‘The role of the United Nations in a world riven by conflict, poverty and hunger.’
