The Galaxy Formation and Evolution Research Group looks at population studies of dwarf galaxies up to the most massive clusters of galaxies, supermassive black holes and detailed modelling of the internal structure of galaxies. Former Sports Scholar Ruth is a champion in the sport of target shooting, the first Black female athlete to represent England and become English Champion in the sport and continues to get support from LJMU through its Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme.
