Important Dates and Actions Required
From 1 December, the university will be implementing the new policy - an online info session is planned for 21 November.
The Academic Board has recently approved an update to the Personal Circumstances Policy, as well as detailed supporting guidance for LJMU students and the Personal Circumstances Panel.
Over the coming months we will be running a series of staff stress workshops.

The annual Susan Cotton and Sue Dunthorne Travel awards are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the school, designed to enhance students personal and career development through travel and impactful experiences. Successful applicants for the Susan Cotton Awards receive a budget of £1500 to spend on the trip of a life to their choice of destinations, while the Sue Dunthorne Travel Bursary is an award of £500 to travel anywhere in the UK or overseas.
Following the recent review of the assessment and feedback policy, there are several updates ahead of the 2025/26 academic year and training will also be provided to staff on these updates.
