  2. George Mayer-Marton (1897-1960)

    From a Second World War refugee to establishing the Department for Mural Art with the then College of Art, George’s influence on our former art students and on the city of Liverpool has lasted the test of time.

    The Moves + app brings the ‘Do What Moves You’ philosophy to life inviting students across Liverpool to connect, explore, and be active, even outside the Sport Building.

  4. Natural Curriculum – School of Education

    Working in partnership with Mersey Forest, LJMU have developed the Natural Curriculum, which is already gaining a strong local and regional reputation. We run a professional practice hub for local schools and have successfully delivered Department for Education/Natural England funded income-generating programmes for teachers.

  6. LJMU Library Fest 2025

    Library Fest is back and this year we have even more activities on offer across campus during February and March.

  9. Nickianne Moody

    Nickianne worked at LJMU for just short of 30 years, teaching on and then leading the university’s Media and Cultural Studies provision. Sadly, she died in 2019 following a period of illness, leaving behind a multitude of memories and legacies for students and academics alike.
