1. New way to request visitor parking and out of hours or security access

   Campus Support (Security) now has a number of staff request forms available via the LJMU HelpMe portal, to help with the management of requests.

   The Graduate and Placement Jobs Fair takes place on Wednesday 18 October at the Student Life Building, 12-3pm. It will feature 60+ organisations from a range of sectors looking to hire students from across all courses and disciplines. If you have a disability, health condition or are neurodivergent and find busy fairs can be overwhelming, join us from 11am for our accessibility hour.

   An exciting range of part-time or summer internships are available for current students to apply for now, along with a host of graduate placements for LJMU graduates who left the University from 2020 onwards.

4. Careers advice for students and graduates with a disability, are neurodiverse or have a long term health condition.

   LJMU students and graduates attended a virtual careers event to give them advice on their future careers.

5. Disability and neurodiversity equity: next steps at LJMU

   In recognition of Disability History Month (14 November to 20 December) and the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December, we’re reflecting on our progress over the past 24 months to support staff and students with a disability/ who are neurodiverse and outlining our next steps to advance disability equity.

   NameCoach software has been integrated with LJMU systems to help users add name pronunciations at the bottom of email signatures.
