New independent research has found Liverpool John Moores University delivers more than £470m of value to the Liverpool City Region economy and almost £900m to the UK every year.
Eighty leaders from across public, private and voluntary sectors have taken part in the Liverpool City Region (LCR) Combined Authority, Race Equality Hub’s Reciprocal Mentoring Programme, created and co-lead by LJMU
LJMU has been officially ranked as a first class university for sustainability. The university has leapt up to 15th in the rankings in the 2025/26 People and Planet League, the only independent table of UK institutions ranked by ethical and environmental performance.
