Professor Ian Tracey is one of Britain's best known and respected musicians. He is a Professor, Fellow, and organist at LJMU and has been the organist at Liverpool Cathedral since 1980. He plays the music for our graduation ceremonies and has done so for 51 years.
Angela was awarded an LJMU Honorary Fellowship in 2018 for her tireless work as a mental health campaigner, speaking out and challenging the stigma of suicide.
Phil is Managing Director of Liverpool-based film company Mocha, which he set up alongside three other LJMU graduates at the turn of the 21st century. The business’s first client was LJMU and over more than two decades the company has gone from strength to strength, working on music videos to ministerial briefings. This year they created the LJMU 200 film in celebration of our bicentenary year.

Lol is a support officer for our School of Art and Design with a lead role in running the Fab Lab, our digital fabrication laboratory that sees students, staff and partners using technology to make almost anything. A Professor of Astronomy Education and Engagement, Andy is a champion of explaining complex science under his directorship of the National Schools’ Observatory, ensuring access to the universe for all.
Clodagh is the 2022/23 Liverpool John Moores Students’ Union (JMSU) Vice President for Activities and through her ‘Challenge Clodagh’ initiative, is improving access and representation across student sports teams and societies.
