4. About MEMARC

   The Mechanical Engineering and Materials Research Centre (MEMARC) specialises in fracture and contact mechanics, wave propagation in lattices and microstructures, thermal fatigue and thermal striping, materials development and processing, as well as dynamics and control systems. 6. CPMH Book Series

   Current CPMH Co-Director, Professor Nicholas J White (LJMU) and former CPMH Co-Director, Professor Andrew Popp (Copenhagen Business School) are the series editors of the Liverpool University Press book series, Studies in Port and Maritime History.

9. Microelectronics Group

   Researchers from the Microelectronics Research Group are investigating new technologies and materials. Members from the Group are also exploring ‘show-stoppers’ for optimizing digital/analogue circuits.
