   Staff and students observed a two-minute silence across campus to mark Armistice Day.

5. Programme and Module Amendment Deadlines 2026/2027

   The Academic Quality and Portfolio Committee (AQPC) has approved the key deadlines for programme and module amendments for implementation in the 2026/27 academic year.

6. 'Ask for Martin'

   LJMU and JMSU work hard to support all students who have been victims of harassment and/or assault.  However, the recent reports of increased spiking in clubs and bars in Liverpool and other cities around the UK are extremely concerning and we want to reassure all students that support is available to anyone affected by this issue. 

7. New and updated diversity and inclusion policies

   The Employment Committee has recently approved a new diversity and inclusion policy and guidance document, as well as amendments to an existing policy.

8. January 2026 student exam timetables now live

   The LJMU assessment period will take place between Monday 5 January to Friday 16 January (inclusive) and exam timetables are now live.

   “Find something you care about, then focus on the mastery of it” was the message for the Class of 2026 from LJMU’s new honorary fellows.
