  4. About MEMARC

    The Mechanical Engineering and Materials Research Centre (MEMARC) specialises in fracture and contact mechanics, wave propagation in lattices and microstructures, thermal fatigue and thermal striping, materials development and processing, as well as dynamics and control systems.     Lilly is an inspiring media production student who aims to break down barriers in the movie industry and is inspired by trailblazing women in film, and her own family too. She’s also a dedicated volunteer, having raised money and given her time to various charities in Teeside. In 2023, her volunteering work was recognised as she was awarded a British Citizen Youth Award.

    Sarah is an award-winning member of staff and alumni of LJMU. Having completed her degree as a mature student, she now leads the Creative Writing programmes in the Liverpool Screen School.
