Andrew (Andy) Newsam is Professor of Astronomy Education and Engagement in LJMU’s Astrophysics Research Institute (ARI) and the author of Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About the Universe: And Our Place Within It (2021).
We are looking for volunteers, aged 18-50, to take part in a laboratory study. You would be invited to come to the psychology laboratories at Liverpool John Moores University in the company of a close friend, romantic partner or relative with you.

Paul celebrated his 25th anniversary of working at LJMU in 2023, our Bicentenary year, and in 2024 will reach a marvellous milestone of 40 years working in education and will retire from the profession.
The Diagnostics and Therapeutics Research Group is focussed on delivering solutions to 21st century healthcare challenges related to cancer therapy, tissue repair, neurodegenerative disorders and respiratory diseases through chemistry, molecular bioscience and nanomedicine.
