   From today, you will see changes to the main megamenu navigation bar and footer at the top and bottom of each webpage and the main banner image on the homepage.

   Students at Liverpool School of Art and Design are asking staff to complete a short survey about their experience of online teaching during the pandemic.

   Stunning awards made from plant starch and containing copper nano-particles will be handed out at the Research and Knowledge Exchange awards next week.

   Following endorsement at University Research and Knowledge Exchange Committee, the Academic Board has approved updates to the Export Control and Sanctions Policy.

7. Health and safety code of practice updates

   Two of our health and safety codes of practice and have updated and can be accessed on the Policy Centre.

8. Literacy programme supports Filipino community during pandemic and beyond

   Senior Education Lecturer Dr Judith Enriquez has helped the community of Alapasco in the Philippines to continue to develop their literacy skills despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.

9. Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning Policy update

   The Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning Policy (RPEL) has been updated to incorporate requirements for RPEL assessment for Apprenticeship programmes, and to reflect changes to governance related to RPEL.

10. First Step Spring Internships available for Level 4 students

    A new pilot internship programme for first year students (level 4 only) with little to no previous work experience launched on Monday 15 January and close at midnight on Sunday 4 February. There will be no interview process for these opportunities, the Student Futures team will undertake a matching process between participating organisations and students. The internships will begin on Monday 4 March (start dates may vary for each role).
