The Electrical and Electronic Engineering Research Centre offer a variety of services to businesses and organisations, including testing and qualification of microelectronic and power devices, simulation and modelling of electric machines, as well as variable-speed drives and power electronic converters.

The LJMU exemplar houses are the first purpose built, multi-unit housing test facility in the North of the UK. The houses are designed based on standards from the 1920s, 1970s, and present-day and can be used to test emerging green technologies and building methods.
A range of modular, flexible assessment tools offered by FeedbackFruits are being trialled. This project is a collaboration between the Faculty of Health and the Teaching and Learning Academy.
