Staff and students past and present gathered at Goodison Park as Everton's Academy Sport Science department hosted an event to celebrate an internship programme run in partnership with The Football Exchange, part of the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Liverpool John Moores University.
Eighty years on from victory in the Atlantic, LJMU is set to commemorate Liverpool’s contributions to the Battle of the Atlantic, as well as its enduring maritime ties as the university itself marks a significant anniversary.
LJMU has been shortlisted in two categories for the 2024 THE Awards.
This year’s Students at the Heart Conference will take place on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 June and you can now register for sessions and workshops.
For the last two years we have been involved in the Whitechapel Christmas Appeal and thanks to you all donating an amazing amount of gifts, you helped make Christmas special for The Whitechapel Centre clients. Thirteen second-year Drama students from Liverpool Screen School have, in collaboration with History academics and students from the School of Humanities and Social Science, produced an original show to be performed during anniversary events across the city in May.
LJMU hosted charity Arts Friends Merseyside in recognition of the organisation’s dedication to the arts in the region, while celebrating LJMU's art collections.
Staff and students can now register to attend the conference, with various workshops and sessions taking place across the two days, in the Redmonds and Student Life buildings, on LJMU campus.
