    Sarah is an award-winning member of staff and alumni of LJMU. Having completed her degree as a mature student, she now leads the Creative Writing programmes in the Liverpool Screen School.

    The DisSPA network aims to provide a transdisciplinary space to connect members and allies who advocate for, and collaborate to, enhance the provision of more inclusive and empowering sport and physical activity opportunities for people with disability.

  4. Global Citizen (Volunteering) - Go abroad

    The LJMU Go Global fund allows students to undertake international projects, from existing programmes such as Camp America or TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) courses, to individual projects students have designed themselves.   5. Alcohol and Other Drugs

    The collective research activity of these LJMU staff spans experimental psychology, psychopharmacology, epidemiology, qualitative inquiry, and public health, with a strong shared focus on substance use, mental health, and health inequalities.

  7. Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale MBE

    Denise is a prominent woman in sport, previously holding roles at Everton Football Club and the club’s official charity, Everton in the Community. She gained her PhD at LJMU, is an Honorary Fellow and took part in the 24th series of our Roscoe Lectures in 2021.
