1. New Research Publications Policy to include rights retention section

   From 1 December, the university will be implementing the new policy - an online info session is planned for 21 November.

   The D&I Team has developed the Transgender and Non-Binary Policy for staff and students, with accompanying guidance.

5. New date for staff event raising awareness of domestic abuse support

   Staff are invited to an event on Wednesday 14 December from 10am to 11am at Exchange Station (Room 1 & 2), where they can find out more about how we're supporting those impacted by domestic abuse.

6. New social media policy

   The university has launched its new social media policy to help staff get the most out of their communications and to stay safe.

7. LJMU shares best practice on menopause policy at Westminster

   Policy and workplace practice is designed to actively support line managers and employees.

8. Alleged Misconduct in Research and Knowledge Exchange Policy now approved

   The policy can be accessed via the LJMU Policy Centre.

9. Updated Assessment and Feedback Policy

   The policy has been updated with two new areas of activity on internal moderation and the use of generative AI (GenAI) in assessment.

10. Academic Framework Regulations updates for new academic year

    Two policies have been updated, one for undergraduate and one for postgraduate programmes.
