    The Institute for Health Research was established in 2006as the virtual home of health research across LJMU. Find out about the research that is carried out within the Institute.

  2. Demitri Markavo

    Business and law foundation year student Demitri moved from Afghanistan to study in Liverpool with LJMU. He is one of hundreds of international students that study here every year and find a home in our city.

  3. Beyond Liverpool

    Liverpool is an ideal location for exploring the rest of the UK. You can leave Liverpool in the morning and head out to spend the day in Wales, Yorkshire, the Lake District, or even London and still be home for dinner.

  6. LJMU Test Houses

    The LJMU exemplar houses are the first purpose built, multi-unit housing test facility in the North of the UK. The houses are designed based on standards from the 1920s, 1970s, and present-day and can be used to test emerging green technologies and building methods.
