  1. Start-up funding opportunity for new student businesses

    The LJMU Start-up Hub is excited to announce that the new Bathgate Boost award is now open! The £500 award is designed to support students who can demonstrate their business idea. Sitting alongside this funding is a package of support from the Start-up Hub team built around developing your start-up and skills as an entrepreneur. The award is open to all current LJMU students and new alumni who graduated from LJMU during 2023.

    LJMUs Womens Professorial Network in association with the Women Academics Network, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Team and Pro VC of Research and Enterprise Professor Keith George, are proud to present the opportunity for all women academics and professional service staff at LJMU, to participate in the Universitys first ever virtual Women Academic Progression Symposium.

  3. Hugh Baird College partnership

    A new partnership between Liverpool John Moores University and Hugh Baird College in Bootle will address regional skills requirements and drive social mobility.

  4. LJMU Climate Research Institute

    Staff are invited to attend a second workshop focussed on the proposed LJMU Climate Research Institute. It follows the successful design sprint session held in December, in which colleagues with research interests in the area met to begin scoping out the planned institute.

  5. Changes to Harvard LJMU Referencing

    From the start of the 2024/25 academic year the institutional style for Harvard referencing is changing from Harvard LJMU to Harvard Cite Them Right.
