1. Academic Registry Roadshows February and March

   The Student Governance Team will deliver the next roadshow on Friday 24 February, Redmonds Building 2.33 and Registry Services will deliver a session on Tuesday 7 March, SLB 3.02.

   LJMU played host to the inaugural Veterans’ Green Energy Forum (Thursday 23 February) in an extension of its commitment to supporting veterans to better access higher education and to further its role in combatting climate concerns.

   Project with British Council pairs UK and Vietnamese universities to create and share new ideas for learning and teaching

6. Positive response to Actus staff development platform

   There has been an extremely positive response from staff to the introduction of Actus, our new system to support development and performance.

7. Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning Policy update

   The Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning Policy (RPEL) has been updated to incorporate requirements for RPEL assessment for Apprenticeship programmes, and to reflect changes to governance related to RPEL.

8. Long service awards

   The university has updated the Long Service Awards scheme to include celebration of reaching additional key milestones at 25, 35, 45 and 50+ years’ service.

9. Academic Registry results notification briefings

   Two Microsoft Teams sessions will take place later this month to assist LJMU administrative staff involved with the pre and post board of examiner process, including results notification.

10. LJMU celebrates first anniversary of UK Malaysia University Consortium

    The UK Malaysia University Consortium (UK-MUC) Secretariat based in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at LJMU, together with Education Malaysia London (EML) hosted the UK-MUC Celebratory Event & EXCEL Workshop at the High Commission of Malaysia in London on Monday 27 March 2023 to mark the one year anniversary of the Consortium.
