Long service awards

The university has updated the Long Service Awards scheme to include celebration of reaching additional key milestones at 25, 35, 45 and 50+ years’ service. 

Staff reaching the milestones will receive a reimbursement payment of the following:

• 25 years - £300
• 35 years - £350
• 45 years - £450
• 50+ years - £1,000

The new scheme is effective for staff reaching the milestones from January 2023 and going forward. 

The previous scheme will apply to staff reaching 25 years’ service before this date; there will not be any retrospective payments in relation to the new scheme.
