Biomedical Science Research Group is focused on diseases, disease states and diagnostics of diseases. Our expertise includes: biochemistry, cell culture, toxicology, microbiology, cell imaging and molecular biology. Graeme Close, a Professor in Human Physiology at LJMU. He combines his academic research with nutrition and physiology consultancy to some of the world's leading sporting organisations.
In 2023, LJMU hosted its first Green Skills and Jobs Fair, bringing together organisations to meet students and graduates interested in sustainability careers.
