Scott is the PhD programme leader with responsibility for the doctoral students in our business school. Having followed a path into the miliary at just 16, gaining only one GCSE, Scott came to study for a degree at LJMU later in life, eventually gaining a PhD before becoming a member of staff and now inspiring others to follow in his footsteps.

Razvan embraced university life during his policing studies degree, having moved to the UK from Romania and being inspired by a coffee shop customer to work in the world of policing. From his work as a councillor, as the former Lord Mayor, and now as a diversity and equality champion, and ‘pay it forward’ evangelist and major fundraiser, he continues to help people, day in and day out, to reach their potential.
