The Belfast field trip forms a core component of the Comparative Studies module within LCAPS at Liverpool John Moores University. Established in 2021, it brings together students from policing, investigations, and forensic programmes to explore how policing is shaped by social, political, and historical context.
Our research is applied in nature and is focused on physical activity, sedentary behaviour, fitness and health in laboratory and various real world settings.
These researchers collectively contribute to forensic, social, and cognitive psychology, with work spanning offender behaviour, violence risk, sexual violence prevention, moral decision making, personality, and the psychological impact of digital and social environments.
The Drone Technologies and Sensing (DTS) research area combines some of the latest research from the General Engineering Research Institute (GERI) in the field of state-of-the-art drone technology, alongside well established research streams in optical measurement and sensing that have a long history of sustained research excellence.
