   IT Services is changing the way permission levels are set in Office 365 to make file sharing more secure.

7. Using e-bikes and e-scooters safely

   Following a warning from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS), students, staff and visitors are reminded that electric bikes and scooters (apart from mobility aid devices) are not permitted on university premises.

8. MA Short Film Festival 2023 returns 24 to 31 March

   The festival returns for its third edition, featuring 42 films from across the globe that showcase the work of the best and brightest emerging student filmmakers.

9. Reciprocal Mentoring Programme involving BAME Staff, Black Students and Senior Leaders

   Given the success of last year's pilot, we are running the LJMU Reciprocal Mentoring Programme again and we are extending it to include BAME staff from across the institution. The programme is open to all LJMU Senior Staff from Director Level of non BAME Background and to BAME staff from non-Director Level and to Black Students from all Faculties.
