The Media Industry offers exciting career paths to all talented individuals. Is this for you or your students? This event in its 7th year will be of interest to anyone who wishes to study or have a career in the Media (Journalism, Television, Film, Online, Digital Media Platforms) in technical, creative or production roles.
Let us introduce you to our panel of guest speakers from across the media industry who will be sharing their experiences and tips on how to succeed in this competitive industry. You will also meet staff and students from LJMU’s Liverpool Screen School and learn more about our Media facilities, programmes of study and the student experience.

Introduction to Liverpool Screen School by Dr. Sarah Haynes, Subject Lead for Media Production, Film Studies and Journalism
Hear from media industry guest speakers:

- Guest speaker 4 – Ugly Bucket Theatre Company
- Participate in our guest speaker Panel Q&A

- Opportunity to network with today’s panel
- Take a tour of Liverpool Screen School facilities
- Experience a Liverpool Screen School Taster Lecture
- Talk to staff and students from the departments of:
- LJMU Student Recruitment and Admissions – with information of how the UCAS application process works and the entry requirements of different programmes
- LJMU Student Funding – with information regarding student finance, our bursaries and scholarships
- Student Advice and Wellbeing – to discuss the numerous practical support available for all LJMU students
- John Moores Students Union (JMSU) – with details of JMSU clubs and societies, sports, student campaigns, and the many ways to get involved in student life
