LJMU's Research Cafés are designed to bring researchers from across the University together to discuss and share their expertise.

They are informal gatherings where established academics, PhD students and early career researchers can share their research and practice from across different faculties.

Organised by the Library Research Support team, these free lunchtime events will feature 15 minute talks from up to three different researchers - spanning a range of disciplines and research activities. There will also be time for questions and further debate.

The three speakers are:

  • Marlena Chrostowska, PhD candidate and lecturer, Education
  • Jane Harris, PhD candidate, Public Health Institute
  • Philomene Uwarnaliya, Senior Lecturer, Nursing and Allied Health

Who should attend?

All staff, students and alumni, in addition to members of public are welcome to attend these events.

Join us for fascinating talks and a free lunch.
