The John Lennon Art and Design Building view map & directions

9.00am - 5.00 pm

'The Periodical Exhibition' presents period stigma smashing and celebratory artworks in the Atrium Gallery.

Come and see menstrual artworks by Bee Hughes, research photographs, and material from LJMU's Femorabilia Collections and Archives.

There will also be the chance to have a go at hands-on activities suitable for all ages.

Join us on Saturday 17 November between 11.00 am and 3.00pm for an informal fun day of craftivism, chat and a homeless period packing party.

Free entry but please bring period products to donate to the homeless period project.

The exhibition is open between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

The Being Human Festival is run in partnership with University of London, AHRC and the British Academy to promote the ways in which the humanities can help inspire and enrich everyday lives, and to make research accessible to wider audience.
