My LJMU

My LJMU is an app designed for our students to bring all the resources you need together in one place. Using My LJMU, you can request support, book tutorials and see your personal timetable on the go.

Canvas

Canvas is our Virtual Learning Environment where you will find information relating to all the modules you will be studying. Access course materials, assessments and submit coursework online.

Microsoft Outlook

Using Microsoft Outlook will give you access to your LJMU emails and ensure you receive any important information about your course.

Microsoft Authenticator

We require all LJMU students to use Multi-Factor Authentication for security purposes and to be able to access your university account off campus. The Microsoft Authenticator app allows you to access your accounts safely off campus. An IT guide is available to help you set this up.

SafeZone

SafeZone is our new free safety and wellbeing app that allows you to contact Campus Services and Security for assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week, when you’re on campus. It also allows the university to communicate directly with you if you are on campus during an incident or emergency.

There’s a range of free IT software and services available to you as an LJMU student, as well as IT support online and in-person at our Libraries and in the Student Life Building.
