A conversation with...Greg Whyte
Graeme Close, Professor of Human Physiology hosts a series of videos discussing topics that can help us cope with the current lockdown. This time he chats with the inspirational Professor Greg Whyte.
Alongside his day job as Professor in Applied Sport and Exercise Science at LJMU, Professor Greg Whyte OBE has trained celebrities to take on some of the toughest challenges for Sport and Comic Relief. An authority on exercise physiology, sports performance and rehabilitation, Greg has provided motivational and fitness support for a number of well-known stars as they ran, walked, cycled and swam to raise money for good causes.
Graeme Close recently caught up with Greg to chat about the importance of physical activity during the pandemic. Watch the video to find out how to keep fit while we're all indoors and to hear Greg's top tips for maintaining a positive mindset during these challenging times.
'A conversation with…' features guests from the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences discussing various aspects of exercise, physical activity and motivation. In the absence of face-to-face talks and lectures, the video series is another example of how the LJMU community are adapting to the current situation and continuing to bring important topics to students and the general public.
