What is Open Labs?
The main aim of Open Labs is to develop collaborations between the University’s research community and local technology companies.
These collaborations then identify and capitalise on opportunities within emerging technologies, trends and markets.

Open Labs is also a key enabler of the University's role within the regional Innovation Ecosystem - the network of institutions in the public and private sectors who create an enabling environment in which businesses can grow and thrive.
